"Judy has presented to my undergraduate students for many years. She is informative, personable, and inspirational. In fact, upon graduation, many students report that her lecture was one of the best throughout their college career. "

"While at Long Island University as Clinic Director and Assistant Professor, I taught several courses that highlighted Augmentative Communication (AAC), including specific modules on AAC and introductory classes in the field. Mary Frey introduced me to Judy and we arranged for Judy to speak with the students. Judy used these classes to talk about her life experiences, challenges and successes. While doing these speeches she was able to simultaneously impart to the students how AAC is an effective communication modality. Judy demonstrated her unique patience, humor and intelligence. I will always remember her class visits with high admiration and thanks."

"Judy Moiseff, a cornerstone of contemporary disability advocacy in NYS, is the highlight of my BMCC Disability course. She brings the concepts of tenacity in a world stacked against persons with disabilities; compassion for others and a unique perspective on the utilization of technology, which never ceases to amaze me. Judy captures the attention and hearts of those in attendance at her many presentations, whether in an academic or professional setting."

"As a Technology Resource Specialist at UCP of NYC’s TechWorks Assistive Technology Centers, authorized by the NYS TRAID Assistive Technology Act Program, I do many presentations to college classes preparing for careers assisting individuals with disabilities. It has been my pleasure to have Judy as a co-presenter many times over the last 10 years. I have observed how she has corrected common misconceptions about people with Developmental Disabilities and improved awareness of how much independence someone with severe quadriplegia can have when using devices like her powered wheelchair, communication device and environmental controls. When Judy visits classes, she always makes a lasting impression that many future professionals will carry with them when they begin their careers. Judy may have a disability but she ably represents herself and the potential that she and other individuals with disabilities can fulfill if given a chance."
